Your journey will begin by arriving at the Ministro Pistarini International Airport where you will be received by our local associate and transfered to the hotel.  The entire day is at your leisure. We suggest you to for El Nino Bien, where locals strut across the wooden dance floor in a fury and do tango with them or step back in time with the Feria de Mataderos on the western edges of the city. Watch traditional folkloric dancers, gaucho contests on horseback and browse the local markets, where you can eat slabs of local cheese and drink home-made wine or mate. Overnight stay at the hotel.



After breakfast, your tour will begin with the visit of the most important sites in Buenos Aires. You will drive to the Plaza de Mayo, which centered between the Casa Rosada ‘the pink house’ which is the seat of the government, the Cabildo (town hall) and the Metropolitan Cathedral, home of the Archbishop of Buenos Aires. The tour goes onto the district San Telmo which was a river port until 1888 but today is one of the most modern and desired places to live in Buenos Aires. The worker district La Boca is famous for its colorful tin-houses and its history as living district of Italian seamen and dock workers in the 19th century. The Barrio Norte called Recoleta is the quarter of the rich of Buenos Aires.


At the cemetery of Recoleta you will find the grave of Eva Duarte who became famous as Evita Perón. Your tour will advance along the widest avenue in the world “the Avenida 9 de Julio” and will continue through the Plaza Lavalle with the Federal Court of Justice and the Teatro Colón to Palermo with its parks and gardens and back to the hotel.


Afternoon is at your leisure. Explore the city on your own or you can do the following optional tours.


Optional Tours:

1. Half day Tigre Tour. From your hotel we will drive along the Northern residential districts of the city, until getting to San Isidro, a colonial and aristocratic area. You will see the mansions and houses in front of the River Plate. You will continue driving to Tigre, a charming area near Buenos Aires city where a great number of summer residences, yacht clubs and rowing clubs attract the week-end activity of many “porteños”. The Tigre Delta with its rivers, streams and numerous green islands is one of the most attractive areas for visitors. The continuous sediment of the Paraná River, which gives the river and estuary their particular brownish-red color, forms the Delta islands. Enjoy a boat excursion (1 hour) along the innumerable channels of the Paraná-Delta to see not less than hundreds of islands covered with luxuriant vegetation. Drive back to the city to your hotel via the Panamericana highway.

2. Visit to the San Telmo market. From your hotel we will take you to San Telmo, which is no doubt the best kept historical neighborhood and eldest district of Buenos Aires. Here one has time to stroll around Plaza Dorrego, where each Sunday an antique market takes place. Tango couples are dancing on the street. Cafes invite to sit on their terrace and to relax by enjoying the nice scenery. Other attractions are the numerous antique shops, where one might find the souvenir for every taste. After the visit, return to the hotel.

After breakfast is done, you will be escorted to the national airport Jorge Newberry. Board the flight to Trelew and upon arrival in Trelew you will be transferred to your hotel which is in Puerto Madryn, located on the Atlantic coast. Overnight at Hotel.



After breakfast you depart for a full day excursion to discover the wildlife and scenery of the nature reserve at Valdes. Spectacularly unusual geographic features exist in Peninsula Valdes (approx. 10 hours), providing the ideal scenery for the proliferation of several unique botanical and zoological species. Every year hundreds of whales swim through the southern seas to seek shelter in the quiet waters of the Nuevo and San Jose Gulfs during their breeding season.

Thousands of sea-elephants roam along miles of beach on the east side of the peninsula. Rock, sand and gravel create the ideal setting for the world’s only land colony of these impressive mammals. Don’t miss the opportunity to take an optional tour by boat to watch the southern whales.


Whale watching tour can be booked through our local SAT office (whales can be seen from May to mid of December). Overnight at Hotel.



After breakfast you will visit Punta Tombo, one of the world’s largest colonies of Magellan Penguins on the main land. They can be found just everywhere: on the hills, on the road and in the sea – thousands of penguins.  Later on you will be escorted to the airport in Trelew for the flight to Ushuaia, the world’s southernmost city on Fireland. You will be taken to the hotel upon arrival at Ushuaia airport. Overnight at Hotel.



The breakfast will be followed by a half day tour to the Tierra del Fuego National Park, where you will be under the impression as if time goes slower. The National Park is crossed by many rivers which flow into the Beagle Channel. Drive through the park to enjoy the landscapes and do stop by and have a little walk.

Rest of the day is at your leisure. Explore the city on your own or you can do the following optional activities


Catamaran tour on the Beagle Channel: The Beagle Channel got its name due to the expedition from Charles Darwin. You will pass through the Casco Island where hundreds of seabird nests and sea lions can be seen. You will get down on the Los Lobos Island to get closer to the sea lions. Overnight at Hotel.



Transfer to the airport and flight to El Calafate (not included). Pick up at the airport by our local guide and escorted to the hotel. Rest of the day is at your leisure. The following optional tour can be done.


Half day Glaciarium Museum (duration about 2 ½ hours) : The Glaciarum Museum is the first museum in South America dedicated to the glaciers and Patagonia ice. It has a privileged location, situated close to El Calafate town (20 minutes drive) on the way to Los Glaciares National Park. The whole complex is a last generation interpretation centre which offers the visitors an interactive exhibition with the aim to make them aware and concerned about the glaciers. It`s an interactive museum with theme rooms, exhibitions showing recent investigations, scenic & lighting effects, multimedia programs and audiovisuals. It also hosts a permanent exhibition focused on global climate changes and the environmental problems on earth.  Overnight at Hotel.



After breakfast your full day tour to the will commence. After a drive through the National Park Los Glaciares you will unexpectedly in a forest full of colors, before your eyes will be treated to the equally unexpected – “the glacier Perito Moreno”. This is one of the few glaciers which is still growing. Every 4 to 5 years it covers the gap between the mainland and itself and grows into the Lago Argentino. Eventually the ice can’t resist the enormous pressure of the water and crashes with a frightening noise. One can watch this glacier spectacle every day when single ice blocks fall into the lake. Considering that the glacier is 5 km long and 70 m high one can imagine the noise this makes. Here we will have 2 hours to experience the wondrous event before driving back to Calafate.  Overnight at Hotel.



Enjoy your breakfast and head towards the bus terminal. From here you will travel in the public bus to Puerto Natales. Pick up at the bus terminal and transfer to the hotel.  Overnight at Hotel.



After breakfast drive to the Torres del Paine National Park. You will be able to appreciate the most spectacular worldwide reserve at this end of the world, 150 km northwest from Puerto Natales. On this this protected area you will find a fertile combination of lakes, lagoons, waterfalls, glaciers, hills and peaks. Inside the area, the road is surrounded with dozens of lagoon, contrasting with hills and snow capped mountains. Among the other places you will also visit the Milodon Cave and the Salto Grande waterfall. Drive back to the hotel by early evening.

Early morning transfer to the bus terminal in Puerto Natales and commute in the public bus (approx. 4 hours) to the city of Punta Arenas. Upon arrival at the public bus station, you will be welcomed by our local guide for a city tour through Punta Arenas, which was the first permanent settlement in Austral Patagonia. Started on the 18th of December 1848 as a small colony, in a couple of years it developed to be the most important cultural, commercial, and cattle raising centre of Patagonia.

Your tour will proceed through the tidy laid out avenues and squares which host more than thirty monuments. March to Cerro La Cruz, from where you can enjoy a fantastic panoramic view of the city and the Strait of Magellan. Afterwards continue to Presidente Carlos Ibáñez del Campo Airport for your flight to Puerto Montt, in the Lake District of Chile.  Upon arrival pick-up and transfer to the hotel in Puerto Varas, the “city of roses" overlooking Lago Llanquihue, one of Chile's largest lake, where the reflection of the eternally snow covers Osorno Volcano is mirrored in the clear waters.  Overnight at Hotel.



Entire day Lake Tour to Peulla and Petrohue rapids (Seat and Coach basis)

After breakfast your extraordinary excursion begins with one of the most beautiful scenic trip through the soft lush green countryside, past oxen and tractor-ploughed fields, weather beaten clap-board barns and churches surrounding Lake Llanquihue.

You then proceed to the little Ensenada village to reach the Petrohué Rapids, a fabulous, dashing and gleaming succession of azure blue cascades against a backdrop of majestic mountains at the east. Then you will enter the Vicente Perez Rosales National Park to reach Petrohué at Lake Todos los Santos, also called "Emerald" for its vivid green color. Here you do a boat-trip on a catamaran enjoying breathtaking views of the majestic volcanoes in the background. On the other end of the lake you can visit the little village Peulla. You also the option to do some till the waterfall or walk along the lake and learn more about the native flora and fauna. In the afternoon, the catamaran returns to Petrohue.

Remark: This tour is subject to weather and climatic conditions during spring/autumn. In case this excursion is not possible, you will have another full day excursion instead.  Overnight at Hotel.



Today it’s time to say good-bye to the lovely lake region full of volcanoes! Transfer to the Puerto Montt airport for the flight to Santiago de Chile. Upon arrival pick-up and transfer to the hotel.  Overnight at Hotel.



After breakfast you go for a city tour. Santiago de Chile is a city of contrasts with remains of its colonial past to the ultramodern, high-rise buildings of the financial centre; Chile’s capital city is bound to surprise you. The city tour begins with the visit of the church San Francisco, which was build between 1572 and 1618. You will pass through the Barrio Paris & Londres which is characterized by its European architectural style and its’ narrow cobbled street.

Then you will pass by the sector of Club Hípico, one of the most beautiful horseracing tracks in South America, created by the architectures of the early century.

Continuing your tour to the Barrio Conchay Toro where you will immediately notice that the constructions of the buildings are very similar to those in the Barrio Paris Londres. While walking through the main street you will relive vestiges of the aristocratic past of the capital. In 1989 this district was declared as “Zona Tipica”. You will be impressed by the gothic, neocolonial and Bauhaus constructions.

After that you will visit the Plaza de Armas and the cathedral. Just around the corner, you will find the main post office, the National History museum, the Metropolitana and the town hall of Santiago. From here you head along the famous Alameda, Santiago’s colorful main avenue, to the heart of the city, seeing the “Palacio de la Moneda” (seat of government), various monuments and public buildings.

Afterwards, you continue the tour by driving up to the San Cristóbal Hill. From one of the hill’s view points, you will have the finest views of Santiago and the Andes Mountains. To round off the tour, you will pass through the modern residential areas of the city with their daring architecture and, finally, the bustling Providencia shopping zone. Overnight at Hotel.



Transfer to the airport for flight back home.
